Day 1

Check-in begins at 5:30 pm.
The first session begins at 6:00 pm and continues until 9:00 pm with brief lectures, interactive group assignments, and panel discussions.

Day 2

The second session begins at 9:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm.

GROUP LEADERS

Brian Brodersen

Brian Brodersen is pastor emeritus of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He also serves as president of the Calvary Global Network, chancellor of Calvary Chapel Bible College, and co-founder and director of Creation Fest UK. Brian is the featured speaker on the Back to Basics radio program and co-host of the live call-in program Pastors’ Perspective. Brian holds an M.A. in Ministry and Leadership from Wheaton College. He and his wife, Cheryl, have four children and seven grandchildren and reside in Southern California. Brian and Cheryl lead Echoes of Mercy, a new ministry focused on encouraging believers through teaching, writing, and media, building on decades of pastoral and discipleship experience.

Brian Kelly

Brian Kelly is the lead Pastor at WestChurch. Brian and his wife Lynne moved to West Bradenton from New Zealand in 2021. The Kelly family has worked on the mission field and planted Churches in Uganda and the United States over the past twenty years.

Cody King

Cody King primarily serves to oversee the men’s ministry and Calvary International Training Institute at Reliance Church in Temecula, California. He also assists the pastoral team with discipleship, counseling, pastoral care, and teaching and preaching. Cody is a graduate of Calvary Chapel Bible College, holding an AA in Biblical Theology. Passionate about expository preaching and teaching as a primary way of establishing and developing people in the word of God, Cody knows that when people understand who God is and what God thinks—through the Bible—true life transformation happens. Cody also has a heart for church planting, having been one of the founding pastors of Reliance Church in 2007 and the founding and lead pastor of Redemptive Calvary in Commerce City, Colorado, from 2014 to 2022.

Ryan Marr

Ryan Marr is the lead pastor of Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg, Florida, and an on-campus faculty member at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Bradenton, Florida. Ryan holds an MA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Western Seminary. He loves the opportunity to walk alongside students as they explore the Bible and grow in their Christian lives. The Bible is a remarkable book that continually points us to Jesus, and he is passionate about helping others see Him more clearly.

Mike Neglia

Mike Neglia is the lead pastor at Calvary Cork, having moved to Ireland from Fallbrook, California, in 2003. In addition to pursuing a master’s degree at Western Seminary, Mike serves on the Calvary Global Network Executive Team and hosts the Expositors Collective podcast.

Dr. Alan Stoddard

Alan Stoddard serves as the lead pastor of Imagine Church in Cresson, Texas, having previously pastored churches elsewhere in Texas and New Mexico. Alan graduated from Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas, and Gordon-Conwell Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. His doctoral work at Gordon-Conwell was on “Reinforcing Expository Preaching with Sermon-based Small Groups."

Dr. John Whittaker

John Whittaker is a preacher, teacher, and pastor. He holds theology and ministry degrees from Boise Bible College, Cincinnati Bible Seminary, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. John has been serving in ministry for 30 years. He has served as Professor of Preaching and New Testament at Boise Bible College for 19 years. He has also helped plant a church in Kuna, Idaho, where he preached for 11 years; served for 4 years as one of the teaching and campus pastors at The Pursuit; taught classes for Eternity Bible College; and preached in various places around the country and the world. He is the founder of the Bible in Life online discipleship ministry at johnwhittaker.net

When he is not preaching or teaching, you can find John at a local coffee shop meeting with and encouraging other local ministers; hanging out at home with wife and partner in ministry, Louise, his closest friend for 30 years; or throwing a ball to his dogs.

Pilgrim Benham

Pilgrim Benham is the Dean of Students and a professor at Calvary Chapel Bible College--now located in Bradenton, Florida--where he resides with his wife Jenn and two adult children. Pilgrim loves equipping people for ministry and is grateful for the work God is doing in and through CGN.

Dr. Bob Franquiz

Bob Franquiz is the Founding and Senior Pastor of Calvary Fellowship in Miami, FL. Bob is also the founder of churchninja.com, an organization that provides training and resources to Pastors and Church Leaders. He is the author of seven books, including Pull: Making your Church Magnetic and Begin: First Steps for the Journey of Faith. Prior to entering Pastoral ministry, Bob played guitar for Christian Hardcore band Strongarm; a band that has been called one of the best Christian Metal bands of all time. Pastor Bob also served as the dean of Calvary Chapel Bible College in South Florida. Most importantly, Bob considers his greatest achievement as being married to his “just out of high school” sweetheart, Carey, for the last 16 years. Together, they have three beautiful children, Mia, Alexander and Olivia.
